We think that these photographs were taken shortly
after my dad bought the truck in 1957. Evidence to this is the lack
of the following: turn signals, tool box, and NDT tires. All of
those items were added by my dad.
The photo to the left has an otter skin displayed. My dad did a lot of net fishing and this otter unfortunately got trapped in his nets and drowned. My younger brother now has the skin. In the bottom picture you'll notice a pistol on the front fender. The signifigance of this has been lost with the passage of time. The original photos had faded a lot, as can be seen in the smaller photo after this paragraph. Corel's PhotoPaint brought the images back to life.
